Outside India, Thaipusam celebrations take place in USA, Mauritius, Malaysia and Singapore. It is a public holiday in several states in Malaysia. This is my first time ever celebrating the Thaipusam in Penang , Malaysia . It is great with all the blessing from all the different cultures.
No matter who you are , it is still the great when come to the festival celebration as you will receive all the blessings from all the different races. Since when the war , greedy , power had caused our humanity lost its" soul. I had heard a lot of terrorist news recently , it is a sad case. Wake up world , make our mind peace , blessing the world for a better place .
It is representing smashing all over the obstacles. For the festive , we can see the devotee are smashing the coconut all over the street .
